This was, hands down, the best dining experience I’ve had on Ko Samui. The chef is incredible—she cooked for us like we were part of her family, and that’s exactly how we felt throughout the evening. The food was authentic, exceptionally fresh, and above all, prepared with so much love and care. We tried an 8-course menu, and each dish was unique, bursting with distinct flavors and PERFECTLY balanced. This wasn’t just a meal; it was an experience. The atmosphere, the hospitality, and the flavors all came together to create unforgettable moments. If you’re on Ko Samui, don’t miss it—it’s worth every second. We love it!

We had a great time eating at Khrua Na Ban. food is extremely delicious and the venue was very quiet. It’s a hidden restaurant in Samui. Beautiful atmosphere and lovely people with great hospitality to cook and serve you. We had Thai Fried rice with crab, stream sea bass, crab omelette, fish cake and Fried pork. Food is value for money and definitely “exceed expectations”. Highly recommended for family and couples. Recommend to book the table in advance as the owner is the only one cooking all the food and cannot handle with crowded tables.

Fantastic food and taste were on point, only thing it took a while for our food to be prepared even though we were the only table there. The service is excellent, and the owner and chef speak good English, making order really easy. The restaurant is clean and very presentable. Loved our food, and prices were fair.

Incredible southern Thai food and service! Worth reserving in advance. Confirmations of seating and menus are done via the restaurant's Facebook profile. Similar to some of the local eats on the island, the menus are preordered to ensure good and freshest of preparations for their ingredients / produce of the day. Like the common word-of-mouth recommendations, I was very impressed with the food here. The wait time is also not at all long either; and, the owner duos are equally as welcoming, attentive and so hospitable every step of the way - which is always a bonus. So good I went twice within 3 weeks. Extensive southern Thai menus; although I feel their beverage options are a little lacking - and could stretch their potential so much more if there are a couple of more options to choose from. Personal highlight is the crab curry - wildly spicy but phenomenal. The crab meat is just so sweet - each and every pieces of it. One must note that this dish truly kicks it with the spice, so be prepared for it if you want to try / enjoy. A sip of water don't cut it for me, but I also couldn't stop enjoying it. The other highlight is their fried squid - simple staple but very nicely flavoured and executed. It appears the kitchen prepares it as sundried prior to cooking, meaning the salty-squid aroma is more accentuated. We had the tom yum seafood also, but the tang, zest and spice may lack a little- have had better on the island. Pricing is fair; although above average. I'd say that you get what you pay for when dining here. Overall very impressed and would love to recommend this hidden gem of a local eatery to the discerning foodies. Also, cannot say enough that me and the company left so filled up after the lunch.

If you desire an "off the beaten path" food experience on Samui it can be difficult to find however Krua Na Ban was just that for my wife and I. We had perfectly fried squid, fried pepper crab and a beautifully cooked stir fry of prawns and broccoli. Combine all that with a pretty location that feels remote although it isn't along with the polite Aunties cooking and it really is hard to beat this little gem.

Hidden gem indeed. Loved the fresh Samui style food. Squid was so good, as was the pork and prawn cakes. The various salads were addictive. The lady owner is very friendly and interacts well with her customers. Highly recommended.

We were 6 people and paid 3600 baht with drinks. If you are in Samui, you really need to try this place. The crab meat they use on their dishes are really big! We paid 720 baht for the crab omelette. They could have charged more for that! It deserves a Michellin star! The crab curry is so good and spicy. We are used to eating spicy food but that packed a punch. You need to pre-order the food and pay a deposit so they could prepare it in advance. But since I don’t have the payment app, we just told them that we are coming and are willing to wait for the food instead. They prepared the food for us anyways and they started serving the food when we arrived. Find them in fb and they will send you the menu via messenger. We came around 6:30pm and we were alone in the restaurant. The location is really quiet and calm. It’s a family owned restaurant. The chef is really sweet and can speak english. We wanted desserts but those should be pre-ordered one day in advance. She gave us big sweet yellow bananas instead. We will definitely comeback.
